Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

Your tasks – Designs, Taxes, Responsibility In this key position you are responsible for the overall commercial management of our company. These include in particular: Technical management & leadership Responsibility for financial accounting, accounting, controlling and purchasing/material management Leadership, development and motivation of employees Further development of structures, processes and interfaces within the municipal works Financial management & accounting Ensuring proper, transparent financial and accounting Creation of annual accounts according to HGB as well as group/group-specific requirements Responsibility for budget planning, economic plan, forecasts and liquidity management Close coordination with auditors, audits and banks Controlling & Corporate Control Building and further development of a meaningful code number system Creation of decision-relevant analyses, reports and cost-effectiveness assessments Strategic advice of management in business and legal matters Purchasing & control processes Responsibility for central purchasing, contracting and material management Ensuring economic procurement processes and compliance requirements Participation in Strategy, Digitalization & Transformation Supporting projects such as tariff, budget and process optimization Working in management systems (e.g. ISMS, EnMS, Compliance and Risk Management) Sparring partner for the management of business development issues

Your profile – professionally sounded, humanly sovereign Complete university degree in the commercial sector (e.g. BWL, Finance, Public Management) Multiannual professional experience in leading commercial functions, ideally in municipal works, suppliers or infrastructure companies Knowledge in the financial, tax, accounting and controlling environment Experience in dealing with auditors, audits and supervisory bodies leadership experience with modern, motivating mindset Ability to think strategically and control operational details Communication strength, integrity and persuasiveness
