As a development engineer Mechanik (m/w/d), you implement the specifications (product, product safety and approval requirements) placed on the product in a development in accordance with the company/project specific procedures. You structure the development activities and make technical decisions in coordination with the involved development and system engineers, as well as sample test engineers and department managers. In addition, you support system development with the inclusion of planning, development and product requirements, product safety and approval requirements as well as economic and company-strategic boundary conditions. Your further tasks deriving structured requirements and evaluating technical risks Development of structural components (metal and fiber composite, etc.) by means of manual methods and finite elements Method and derivation of requirements in participating subsystems and components Creation and coordination of technical specifications and interfaces Explanation and selection of manufacturing technologies as well as development including test and detection Organization and implementation of design reviews Configuration control / management of the supervised components Technical coordination of a team from participating or working development, safety, test and sample test engineers Communication and technical coordination with other specialist departments (serial care, technical documentation, configuration and quality management, manufacturing, etc.) Cost estimation and definition of work packages for individual development steps and resource definition Contents of technical parts on offers, responsibilities and specifications, system descriptions and customer presentations

Complete studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or comparable Multiannual experience as development or development Experience in the structural design of fiber composites and metals as part of research or industrial projects Experience with development processes, preferably experience in the field of aviation, knowledge in the relevant regulations / guidelines Very good knowledge of Siemens NX and CAD data management Good knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter (configuration, workflows) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Teamability, organisational skills, high self-initiative and careful working style
