We – the GWG of the city of Kassel mbH – as the largest housing provider of the city, take responsibility for the rental of affordable and socially compatible living space. We currently manage around 8,400 apartments with about 130 employees. Our aim is to continuously modernise our housing stock, create new living space and to meet the current challenges in terms of climate neutrality technically and economically. Development of projects taking into account the economic plan and technical installation requirements Ensuring sustainable and economic solutions in close coordination with the Customer Service and the Sustainability Officer Development of planning and cost bases in the context of feasibility studies and cost-effectiveness calculations also taking into account support programs, control and coordination of architects, specialist planners and engineering offices over all phases of development Coordination of projects with internal decision-makers and, if necessary, with external bodies for the binding definition of technical and economic parameters in the project slip Definition of the main milestones of the project Central contact for management and all project participants Coordination and control of relevant processes to ensure a continuous project sequence Support for technical management in the strategic development of the department in relation to the real estate stock and strategic assessment of the stock Total responsibility for project development until handover to the responsible project management Collection of necessary offers and management of external contractual partners Internal project management and coordination of all professionally involved areas

Complete study in the field of architecture, urban planning, civil engineering, real estate management with the subject of project development or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in project development, ideally in housing construction or in stock development Knowledge of construction planning law and cost determination Interest in social urban development and community-oriented work Routinized handling of common office programs and ideally with the CAD software we use Driving licence B Communication strength and team capacity Analytical thinkability and a structured and solution-oriented manner High organisational capacity as well as independent and independent action Responsibility and commitment Performance, enforcement and binding occurrence
