Head of Sonar Signal Processing (m/f/d)

In the Sonar Signal Processing department, you take the professional and disciplinary leadership – and create an environment where the team likes to work and develop. Together with your employees, you align the department with the company's technological and strategic objectives and promote the necessary training as well as personal and professional development. You plan resources forward-looking, prioritized and keep the interaction of different projects and products in mind. Recruiting, suitable placements and regular employee talks are of course yours. A completed study in natural sciences or engineering (or a comparable MINT area) forms a good basis. Ideally, you bring first or deeper experiences in physical sound propagation and signal processing or related technologies – knowledge in the Sonar environment is super, but no need. You can explain complex technical and scientific content in a comprehensible manner and assign it to your address. You carry out situational, communicative and development-oriented, motivate your team and strengthen cooperation and open communication – ideally with experience in modern, agile work forms. Structure, self-responsibility, a sovereign appearance and a good look for relationships characterize your way of working. Very good knowledge of German and English as well as the willingness to occasionally travel round off your profile.
