You work in the team on challenging development projects for complex, safety-critical systems – for example in the environment of maritime platforms, defense systems, sensor technology, avionics, autonomous systems and high-tech electronics. You develop and improve electronic and software-based systems with high quality and reliability. You program hardware-related software and embedded systems, for example for control, communication or sensor systems. You tune electronics, software and system functions together and integrate them into a holistic system – in close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams. You analyse technical requirements and develop concepts, architectures and robust technical solutions. You accompany the entire development cycle – from the first idea to implementation and testing to integration, commissioning and securing. You support national and international research projects and work on current topics and trends in the field of autonomous systems. You have interest or first practical experience in areas such as autonomy, guidance and navigation functions, obstacle detection and prevention (2D/3D), Signed Distance Fields (SDF) You enjoy modern software development and value Clean Code and Software Craftsmanship.
