In the central IT function of Zeppelin GmbH at the Garching site in Munich, we are looking for a 'Head of Connectivity & Core Systems (m/w/d)' at the next possible time.

You want to:

As “Head of Connectivity & Core Systems (m/w/d)” you take over the disciplinary, cost-technical, strategic and technical responsibility for the team, as well as the management of our external partner around all related topics.

The task area includes the planning, coordination and life cycle management of the entire data center, cloud and network landscape as well as systems and applications based on it.

You work with our external partner on the transition to the new Sourcing environment and develop and implement the appropriate tools for managing and monitoring the partner in close coordination with the other infrastructure departments.

You support the strategic orientation of the topics assigned to the team in the company for all business units and thus ensure an innovative development as well as the development of all the services and technologies assigned to the department.

In addition, you have an extensive impact on the creation and development of a roadmap and infrastructure strategy.

The development of employees, the management of employee talks and the management and cooperation of IT projects are also part of your task.

We wish:

Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, a related area or comparable qualifications with corresponding professional experience

At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of system operation including the technologies and methods used there

Strategic IT confession as well as the ability to develop and implement IT roadmaps

Impressed analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as high problem solving and implementation competence

Experience in cooperation with international and interdisciplinary teams and stakeholder management

Representative leadership, communication and innovation competence

Confidence with agile and classic project management methods

Very good knowledge of English and German in word and writing
