Junior Citrix Administrator/-in (m/f/d)

Citrix Platform: You operate, manage and continuously develop our Citrix environment (Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops / Citrix Cloud). Citrix components: You manage central services such as Delivery Controller, StoreFront, Director and Citrix Cloud Services reliably and foreseeably. NetScaler: You enter and configure Citrix NetScaler for Gateway, Load Balancing and Access Control – thus ensuring secure and performant access to our systems. Profile & Session Management: You manage and optimize profile and session technologies such as FSLogix for smooth user experience. Virtualization: You operate and optimize the underlying VMware vSphere platform and ensure its stability. Trouble Management: Analyzes and fixes disruptions in the Citrix environment at 2nd and 3rd levels – fast, structured and sustainable. Performance & Security: You optimize the provision of virtual desktops and applications and consistently implement security and system curing measures. Automation: You automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and thus contribute to the efficiency increase of our operating processes. Further development & documentation: You actively participate in the planning and modernization of the Citrix platform and keep our technical system documentation up to date.

Experience: You have at least 2 years of professional experience in the administration of Citrix environments. Citrix know-how: You have sound knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops as well as Citrix Cloud and know you with NetScaler / Citrix ADC. Profile management: You have experience in profile management with FSLogix. Virtualization: You bring experience with virtualization platforms – ideally VMware vSphere. Windows & AD: You have good knowledge of the Windows server environment and Active Directory Administration. Automation: You have experience in automation with PowerShell and use it specifically to simplify routine tasks. IT Security: You have a good understanding of IT security measures and system hardening. Working: You work independently, structured and solution-oriented – with a high degree of self-responsibility and reliability. Communication: You are team-ready, communicate clearly and professionally and can also convey complex technical facts in a comprehensible way. Language: You have good knowledge of German in word and writing.
