Animal Welfare Officer (m/f/d)

Responsibility, continuous process improvement, quality, sustainability and in particular animal welfare have a high priority in daily action. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable animal welfare requirements and internal standards related to animal intake and slaughter processes Documentation, evaluation and evaluation of relevant processes and derivation and monitoring of appropriate measures for the continuous improvement of animal welfare cooperation with production, quality management, veterinarians and other stakeholders as well as support in training, control and further development of animal welfare-related processes; the SFZ explicitly works on improvements in animal welfare, meat testing and process optimization.

Complete studies in the field of agricultural sciences, agriculture, animal sciences or a comparable professional qualification with a sound understanding of livestock farming and animal welfare Safe knowledge of relevant animal welfare requirements as well as a strong sense of quality and responsibility for consistent compliance with defined standards Structured, conscientious and independent mode of operation combined with communication strength, enforcement capability and the ability to work professionally with different internal and external contact persons
