Hessen Mobil connects people and places in Hesse. As a road construction agency, we are responsible for the complete value chain of road construction and take care of mobility strategies, planning, construction, road operation and traffic management. The planning and construction department deals with the planning, construction and maintenance of federal roads, national roads and cycle paths. The new building and the repair of numerous engineering structures such as support walls or bridges are also responsible here. At our Fulda site, we are looking for one/n at the next possible time for the specialist department “Install Ingenieurbauwerke”

As a building diagnostic engineer / building diagnostic engineer (w/m/d), you will get to know the really exciting engineering structures and make an important contribution to their safety and sustainability. In particular, you take over the following tasks: Analysis and evaluation of engineering structures: You develop investigation concepts both in terms of computational/statistic and structural engineering You create static calculations to assess damage to engineering structures – in particular with regard to stability and durability You conduct object-oriented damage analyses within the framework of construction tests and determine the causes of damage

Development and support of measures for the continued operation of engineering structures: You develop concepts for the continued operation of damaged or computationally deficient buildings You create test instructions and test manuals for special tests You implement electronic continuous monitoring / monitoring measures You develop structural and traffic compensation measures to ensure usability

Coordination with internal and external partners: You commission, accompany and manage engineering offices in the mentioned fields of activity You act as an important interface to the department building planning, reckoning and building testing

You have a completed university degree (min. FH-Diplom / Bachelor) in the field of civil engineering, with the focus on constructive engineering or a comparable qualification You bring knowledge of bridge construction and/or the testing of bridge structures with You have good knowledge of structural design, if possible in the field of engineering Ideally, you will experience the static assessment of damage to existing structures, especially in bridge construction (e.g. in the context of object-oriented damage analyses) with Your willingness to use external services, even under special conditions (e.g. working at higher altitudes, in addition to flowing traffic, if necessary also outside the regular working time), is characterized by You have the ability to carry out systematic and responsible tasks and to incorporate them into new topics As your activity is associated with business trips, you are in possession of the licence of Class B.
