The HIS Institute for Higher Education is a private-law organization in the institution of the 16 federal states. As an independent competence center, we support universities, research centres and ministries across Germany on fundamental and future-oriented topics through specialist and process consulting as well as basic studies, evaluations and know-how transfer. The Construction University Development division focuses on three areas of action: Higher education areas: from the differentiated demand measurement, comparison value and characteristic value methods to land-based area control and high-school area management. Higher education: from holistic campus development and master planning to usage concepts and space program testing to the assessment of urban and structural aspects. Higher education spaces: from the design of new working environments, the development of innovative teaching and learning spaces, to the attractive furnishing of indoor and outdoor spaces. On behalf of state ministries, universities and research institutions, we prepare scientifically sound, independent opinions, conduct basic studies and accompany universities and research institutions in the development and implementation of forward-looking concepts. Then you are right with us! As project manager:in/consultant:you work closely with the customer and in the middle of the projects. Your working day is as diverse as responsible. It awaits you a mix of routine and planable activities, extraordinary tasks and ad-hoc related questions. Your role and tasks: You are responsible for managing projects and work as a specialist planner: in project teams – among other things in the fields of construction development planning, area requirements planning, utilisation studies, area control and area management with all the tasks involved. As a project manager, you are responsible for ongoing coordination with the clients, You design the processes, keep the figures in mind and make project-related decisions. You develop project designs and are responsible for creating offers and calculations as well as offering clarification with clients. You contribute to cross-business projects on campus development and to the strategic development of the HIS-HE portfolio and develop solutions and future-oriented concepts and methods. You represent HIS-HE to the outside at network meetings and conferences as well as through lectures and publications.

You bring a master's degree, ideally from the natural sciences/life sciences. (first) experiences in scientific laboratory work and laboratory planning are desirable. At best you have experience in quality and risk management, project management, offering creation and budgeting. You also have a pronounced number affinity. You have a pronounced analytical and strategic thinking with a high degree of implementation. Negotiating skills are one of your strengths. You will also keep an overview under time pressure. You are open-minded and team-capable as well as in-packing and learning-loving. You communicate and present safely, write precise and work routined with popular MSOffice applications.
