Waterworks Management - Operations & Technology (m/f/d)

You take over one of the most substantive management functions of the German water industry – in a consolidated and highly efficient benchmarked water production with high performance and design depth. In addition to the ongoing operation, you are responsible for a demanding infrastructure and modernization program with new waterworks construction as well as preparation, storage and transport management projects and specifically strengthen the technical resilience of water supply. You work in a cooperative and professionally strong leadership environment with short paths, close cooperation between colleagues and a team that visibly identifies with their facilities.

The task in detail – an extract: You lead around 70 employees in a disciplined and professional manner. You ensure the reliable, economical and legally secure operation of the entire plant landscape. You develop the asset management strategy for the plant landscape along modernization and life cycle paths, are responsible for an investment volume of around € 20 million p.a. and derive multiannual renewal decisions. You evaluate new processing methods against the background of increasing quality requirements and consistently drive the digitization of control and automation technology. You actively build business continuity management according to KRITIS Dachgesetz, take over the overlayed emergency responsibility of water production and strengthen technical resilience. You represent the department sovereign to authorities, supervisory bodies and municipal partners.

Foundation: Graduate or Master's degree in urban water management, civil engineering (water-economic deepening), utility or process engineering – or a comparable engineering-scientific qualification with drinking water or water Installation reference. Professional safety: multi-year leadership experience ideally in drinking water supply. You will also bring asset & investment expertise, regulatory security and economic judgment. .
