Superior management, leadership and strategic development of the business unit with around 300 employees in three areas Planning and development of municipal education infrastructure and support and education services, including the responsible support of construction projects Need-oriented further development of the municipal cultural and sports offer, the club landscape and the urban event infrastructure including the city and home festival as the largest event in the city Responsible management of social institutions (Youth House, Family Centre, City Library, Senior Work) as well as the cross-sectional tasks Integration, Inclusion and Citizenship Engagement Confidential and constructive cooperation with the First Mayor, the Mayor of the Lord, the Council of the Municipality and free institutions, associations and the Land of Baden-Württemberg

Completed academic studies (master, diploma or similar) of the administrative, legal, economic, social or educational sciences as well as comparable disciplines that meet the requirements for the higher service in Baden-Württemberg As an alternative, the ability for the senior service or a corresponding university degree (Bachelor/FH diploma) is linked to the willingness to acquire career skills for the higher service Multiannual relevant professional experience in at least one of the areas of education, youth, social or culture, preferably in public service and in complex organisations with political interfaces Outstanding experience in leadership and management of executives proven experience in the strategic management of complex topics and projects as well as interdisciplinary cooperation A high level of strategic competence, social competence and negotiation skills and networking competence
