Your tasks:

• Technical documents safely interpret: independent reading and understanding of technical drawings, welding plans and workpiece drawings.
• Work preparation: Professional cleaning, chamfering, positioning and fixing of workpieces for welding preparation.
• Conduct welding work: execution of stapling and seam welding in various welding positions (e.g. throat seam, stump seam).
• Use MIG/MAG technology: Self-assembly and operation of MIG/MAG welding systems.
• Control material diversity: welding of various types of metal, especially steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• seam control and rework: inspection of welds and, if necessary, Post-processing by grinding or post-welding.
• Standards and safety awareness: compliance with all relevant welding standards and the applicable safety regulations.
• Installation safety: control and maintenance of gas bottles, welding lines and wear parts such as nozzles or wire guides.

Your profile:

• Complete vocational training in the metal sector, e.g. as a welder, metal maker or industrial mechanic – alternatively proof of completed welding courses
• Safe handling of technical drawings and the ability to implement them in practice
• Precise and clean operation in handling welding equipment and methods
• Experience in welding various materials and material thicknesses (e.g. steel, stainless steel, aluminum)
• Embossed craftsmanship and very good eye-hand coordination
• High sense of responsibility in terms of quality, safety and work results
• Physical loadability, especially when working under heat, spark flight and protective clothing
• Reliable, concentrated and structured operation even in longer working phases
