Test Technician / Test Engineer Fastening Technology & Component Testing (m/f/d)

In the field of research and development of fastening solutions, in particular for dowel and screw anchor applications, we are looking for an addition to the team, which takes over the implementation and evaluation of initial testing in product development and develops resilient, standard-compliant solutions for modern applications in solid construction. In your role, you perform destructive component tests for mineral materials (e.g. stress and tensile tests) and accompany tests from construction to completion. The structured experimental planning is your responsibility: test matrix, test scenarios, termination according to plant availability and test body planning (e.g. substrates/variants). You regularly work on test benches and machines and perform operational tasks in everyday laboratory work. During the evaluation, you prepare test results, interpret force-path diagrams and provide a comprehensible result documentation. You produce test reports and work with test and product standards (e.g. EAD) in the context of new product/first sample and other quality tests. You detect deviations in the test sequence or in the measuring chain and support continuous improvement. In close cooperation, you agree with colleagues from the development, product management, customers as well as external inspection bodies and experts. You support maintenance and maintenance of the test benches in the accredited environment according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

You bring a technical qualification with training, technicians/masters from the field of building materials testing or mechatronics with or alternatively a study with e.g. focus on civil engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering - cross-entry are also welcome. You have profound experience in the testing laboratory, testing/validation or in the handling of construction products; important are hand-on mentality and clean work. You work safely with Excel; Knowledge of IMC Famos, MATLAB and Python/R are advantageous. You communicate very well in German; Use English well in the technical context. You like to work in an environment where impartiality and confidentiality are important (accredited laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025). You work mainly directly on site in the testing laboratory and can occasionally use mobile work depending on the task situation and in coordination. Local missions from one to twice a month will give you pleasure.
