As an intern*-in in the field of visual communication at Mercedes-Benz, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of automotive design and gain an insight into the development of visual communication and corporate design projects for one of the most renowned brands in the world. You support our designers and project managers in current communication, corporate design, graphic design projects, lectures and events. You also take responsibility for their own tasks, taking into account our design philosophy “Sensual Purity”. This includes the development of idea and conception, the application of distinctive design, the creative implementation and the support of the design projects to the application. Your tasks in detail: Design Research: Conduct research to understand current design trends and industry developments Creating and Designing Moodboards Design work within digital, analog and virtual projects Application of corporate design base elements such as color, logos, typography, material, proportions, image language etc. integration of artificial intelligence within the projects Creating and Editing Content for Digital Media (Film, Image & Text) Coordination and preparation of lectures Documentation / Archiving of relevant project development Presentation and coordination with internal departments and external partners Innovative further thinking of future projects The internship can start from February 2026.

You study design with a focus on communication or graphic design and have fun to introduce their creative potential in the interaction of shape, color, material, proportion, typography and image language into our design tasks.

You have the eye for details and for the big whole. You have a high claim to the quality of their designs and prove courage and passion for creation and innovation. You are flexible in thinking, have an affinity to develop new ideas together on automotive topics and joy in the team. Daily application of graphics programs such as e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere Pro (among others) and 3D programs like Blender, Cinema 4D, Rhino. In addition, basic knowledge of the common AI tools is desirable. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are basic requirements.
