The place is to be occupied in part-time (30 hours/week).

As a pedagogical employee (w/m/d) environmental education, you are responsible for guided tours and concept developments at our information location Wasser-Wald-Zentrum (WWZ) in Schortens. You identify issues of environmental education with the focus on groundwater and water protection, ecology, agriculture, technology and history. On these topics, you will develop concepts for knowledge transfer at our information locations for different target groups (e.g. pupils (w/m/d), students, adults, teachers, etc.). You themselves implement guided tours with different target groups on various topics at our information locations in the association area. At your location, you take on organizational tasks and work with the local cooperation partners. You plan and organize stand-ups of environmental education in the context of local events and cooperations in the association area and are ready for questions and information.

You have completed their studies in the field of education or in a comparable relevant course of study, such as biology, ecology, environmental sciences, geography, hydrology or social sciences with reference to ecological or water-economic topics. As an alternative, you have completed vocational training and have completed a further training course, for example for training and further education (w/m/d) or master (w/m/d). You have completed your education and training in the field of education or in areas with technical environmental considerations, such as forestry, agriculture or natural and landscape care. You bring experience in communicating content to different target groups; ideally You have You also have experience in the development of educational concepts and programmes. You have experience in building and maintaining cooperation with different stakeholders as well as organisational, planning and project management experience. You have an affinity for environmental issues and themes of sustainability, in particular for the protection of water and soil resources. You have an open personality and are happy to work in the team. Their actions are customer- and service-oriented. You bring the willingness to flexible working hours including work in the evening hours and weekends and are owned by a class B driving licence. Your German knowledge corresponds at least to the language level B2
