Program Manager in Dentistry with a focus on curriculum development and examinations (m/f/d)

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine is the central coordinating body for teachers and students and for the organization and further development of the courses at the Faculty of Medicine. In the field of study program management, in the team of dentistry, we are looking for a “Studiengangsmanager*in dentistry with the focus on curriculum development and examinations”. The site is located centrally in the dental clinic in Bonn.

As a course manager*in, you are jointly responsible for the further development, coordination and quality assurance of the course of dental medicine in a three-member team. You advise and support students and teachers of the course and are responsible for the further development of the curriculum, including exams.

Your tasks: Cooperation in the implementation of the Dental Approbation Regulation and active participation in bodies and working groups Collection and analysis of course structures as well as teaching, learning and examination formats Implementation and quality assurance of innovative teaching, learning and examination formats (including eTesting) Control and further development of the examination processes/organization in the course of dental medicine, in particular for the integration of new modules and harmonisation of the examination structure, in cooperation with teachers and course managers Coordination with teachers and the Examination Board to ensure consistent audit planning, avoidance of time overlaps and compliance with organisational requirements Technical advice and support for students on topics relevant to study (e.g. pregnancy, cross-entry), preparation and communication of semester-related information as well as presentation of dental studies at events and preparation of information for specialist areas and teachers Participation in meetings of the Faculty's Curriculum Development Working Group

Complete university studies Ideally experience in the organization and further development of study courses (study management or the like) Design will and appropriate professional experience to successfully complete projects and develop processes efficiently Consultancy competence (target group: students and teachers) Good knowledge of dental studies structures or willingness to work Ideally first experiences in working with campus management systems Openness to act as a connecting interface between different actors Structured and service-oriented mode of operation, organisational skills fingertip feeling and safe occurrence for service and solution-oriented communication with different target groups
