Packaging developer (central) (m/f/d)

To strengthen the team, we are looking for a full-time location in Hamburg (38,5 hours/week)

Development of innovative, safe and economical packaging solutions for raw and processed foods Analysis and optimization of existing packaging and standardization of packaging systems in interaction with individual locations Taking into account all food-relevant requirements and central respondent for specific questions concerning packaging Selection and evaluation of suitable packaging materials taking into account product-specific requirements Planning, implementation and evaluation of production and line tests Training and technical support of production sites in terms of optimal packaging processes Close cooperation with the departments Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Production, Category Management and Production Observation of market and technology developments

Complete studies in packaging technology, food technology or comparable qualification As an alternative to the food technician, professional experience in the food industry, ideally in the field of packaging or product development Knowledge of food contact materials and packaging processes as well as food law and hygiene standards desirable Analytical and solution-oriented thinking combined with practical implementation strength Strong and team-ready, safe occurrence in coordination with specialist areas and locations readiness to travel between production facilities
