With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans. As a center, we are responsible for the planning and procurement of transport networks as well as the operational operation of inbound and empty flows for all Mercedes-Benz Cars locations in Europe. We provide works for Completely Knocked Down (CKD) and Part-by-Part (PbP) and make an important contribution to cost optimization in inbound and outbound logistics. Our team consists of 31 colleagues at the Sindelfingen and Rastatt sites and is working on complex logistical challenges. We are responsible for the empty goods supply with cargo carriers from the Mercedes-Benz AG plants to numerous delivery companies. In doing so, we control logistics services companies, design the empties processes operationally and strategically and continuously develop them. In addition to supporting the operational processes, we actively drive the digitization and further development of our department. We are looking for you to support comprehensive strategic projects in cargo carrier management. These activities come to you: You are looking at a project to reorientate the group-wide empty goods structure with You support continuous improvement and digitization projects in the field of empties processes You perform analyses and evaluations and prepare the results with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint You work with various digitalization solutions and company-internal systems after appropriate integration You work with different team members across locations The activity can begin from March 2027.
