The SOS Children's Village Sauerland supports stationary youth aids with a variety of offers in the area of SGB VIII. For our SOS Children's Village Sauerland we are looking for an educator/social pedagogue (m/w/d) for our children's and youth group in full time (38,5 h/w) Your task: The offer of the children's and youth groups is aimed at boys and girls from the primary school age, where a longer-term perspective is envisaged and can benefit from a targeted range of relationships and a social-pedagogical environment. The house of the group is located on the grounds of the SOS Children's Village Sauerland in Lüdenscheid in the district of Dickenberg and can accommodate up to 8 children. The team consists of 6 educational professionals. The work is characterized by a family and appreciation environment in which children and young people are accompanied by stable relationships and educational support in their development. With your expertise and empathy, you promote the individual development of children and adolescents and work with education and assistance planning. They organize a structured daily routine and contribute to the design of an active group life. They maintain good cooperation with schools, doctors, therapists, other externally accompanying helpers and support systems as well as the respective parents. They carry out the necessary documentation and reporting, support the management in the further development of the educational work and participate in professional, internal bodies of the institution. They are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and persons. Your qualifications and skills: They have a degree as an educator or a curative nurse*in or a university degree of social education or a comparable educational qualification and provide as much professional experience as possible. They have the competence to integrate targeted promotion into everyday life. They show commitment to the further development of our pedagogical work with the representatives. They are team-ready and have an independent way of working. They are willing to take over the occasionally occurring domestic activities.
