Planner Digitalization/ Digital Twin in Production (m/f/d)

The job offers the opportunity to work with innovative production concepts within a young planning team and to gain a broad insight into the business processes of MAN Truck & Bus SE. Local missions are possible depending on the main activity.

You develop modern digital planning methods and build the digital twin from process and product data as a central tool for production planning. You analyze existing planning processes and drive their digital transformation with innovative, data-based solutions. You integrate and harmonize data from different sources (product, process, resource) and secure a consistent, reliable database. You specify requirements for simulation, visualization and data generation and transfer them to powerful IT tools. You identify relevant Use‐Cases, implement pilot projects and continuously develop digital twins across all trades. You are opting for production processes with the help of digital tools in terms of ergonomics and productivity while considering employee use. You evaluate layouts, material flows and process chains virtually, reduce risks and increase production efficiency, quality and flexibility.

You have a completed technical study (engineering, electrical engineering/automating, mechatronics, computer science) and brings at least 5 years of experience in digital production planning and industrialization. You can safely master modeling, simulation and virtual commissioning (VIBN) - including structured configuration and version management as well as data management. You have knowledge of Siemens‐Tecnomatix (PD/PS) and Dassault tools (e.g. CATIA, DELMIA, 3DX) as well as experience with 3D tools. You have practice-proven system and integration understanding in PLM, CAx, automation and visualization systems, and you are confidently moving at the interface to the Data Lab team (APIs, Events, ETL, Data pipelines). You have practical experience in digitization projects around digital factory, factory planning and end-to-end planning processes. You bring basics of production planning as well as a strong interest in new technologies, IT platforms and cloud solutions. You are convinced by clear communication, team skills and commitment - and you can easily prepare complex technical content in German and English.
