In this role, you take a central role in the automation, deployment and operation of modern software and platform solutions. You work at the interface between development and operation and actively promote the transformation of our engineering landscape.

You develop, operate and optimise CI/CD pipelines for applications and platform components. You automate build, release and deployment processes for stable and comprehensible software delivery. You actively participate in migration to the GitHub Cloud and modern platform workflows. You use GitHub workflows, repository standards and automation capabilities to increase efficiency. You use AI-supported tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to analyze and troubleshoot errors more quickly. You support the setup and operation of container-based build and deployment processes. You develop and run the existing Jenkins-based delivery landscape. You integrier and manage artifact repositories and dependencies. You work closely with development and platform teams to standardize deployments. You operate and automate platform components like JBoss, ActiveMQ, Redis and Keycloak. You make sure that security, configurations and credentials are implemented cleanly and sustainably.

Your profile You have several years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD or platform automation. You have very good knowledge of Jenkins and automated delivery processes. You have experience with – or a strong interest in – GitHub Cloud and GitHub Actions. You bring experience with container technologies like Docker or Podman. You have knowledge of Maven and other build tools. You're sure to use Linux, Shell Scripting and configuration management. You have experience with artifact repositories, such as Artifactory. You have a good understanding of secrets, credentials and secure deployments. You are able to use AI tools productively in engineering. You work structured and solution-oriented and are a team player. You have experience with Enterprise Java or Middleware platforms Advantage: You have experience with Azure Cloud or Kubernetes. You have knowledge in Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform or Ansible. You have experience with Monitoring & Observability, such as Prometheus, Grafana or OpenTelemetry. You bring knowledge in the areas of security, dependency management and platform hardening.
