Reference number 25123 The Infectiology Task Force (TFI) is an infectious and infection-hygienic unit. It advises and supports the Bavarian health authorities on infection prevention and infection prevention, e.g. in the event of an outbreak investigation and in the event of special complexity or in the case of a need for special expertise. In addition, it is responsible for border crossing points (points of entry), in particular at Munich, Nuremberg and Memmingen airports, in accordance with the International Health Regulations (IGV). The branch of Memmingen is part of the task force infectiology of the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety, which operates in several locations (Munich, Oberschleißheim, Erlangen, Memmingen, Bad Kissingen) and is also the seat of the specialist department for special biological situations.
