Proactive monitoring (e.g. with SolarWinds or PRTG) allows you to recognize performance bottlenecks in CPU, RAM and Disk before impairing business operation. Network & Security: You enter the local network landscape (routers, switches, firewalls). With CLI (Cisco, Juniper or HP), you perform configurations and ensure connectivity.
Identity & Access Management: You manage user rights and profiles in the Active Directory and ensure that group policies (GPOs) are implemented precisely.
Hybrid Support & Incident Management: You are the First Point of Contact for complex questions on site. You can classify and solve Incidents within the agreed SLAs – always in exchange with international colleagues.
Availability & Documentation: From “Rack & Stack” in the server room to patch management to monitoring the backups (Veeeam/Veritas) the operational readiness is in your hand. Your clean documentation (network plans/assets) is the foundation for global standards.
Foundation: You have completed training as a specialist in system integration or a study in the IT field with corresponding professional experience.
Network enthusiast: terms like the OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP are not a theory for you, but daily craftsmanship. You can control Subnetting safely.
Tool expertise: You are versed in the diagnosis via CLI as well as with tools such as ping, trace route, nslookup and netstat.
Communication talent: You'll be sure to focus on whether you'll explain a problem to the end user on site or coordinate a technical rollout with the global team in English.
Language skills: Very good German knowledge for local support as well as very good English knowledge for international cooperation.
