You take over the independent preparation, control and execution of audits in all areas of the bank, including comprehensive documentation and the preparation of meaningful audit reports You check the operational procedures for compliance with legal, supervisory and internal requirements (in particular MaRisk) and ensure that risks are detected and addressed at an early stage You identify vulnerabilities, guide practical recommendations as well as measures to resolve and analyze and evaluate complex IT-based processes and control systems You monitor the timely implementation of agreed measures from exams (follow-up) and make sure that vulnerabilities are permanently resolved You accompany strategically relevant projects from auditing perspective, actively contribute your expertise and ensure their proper implementation You are driving the further development of the internal control system (IKS) significantly and you are responsible for the creation and continuous updating of the relevant SfO

You have a well-founded banking training and/or a completed study, supplemented by many years of relevant professional experience in the banking sector, in consulting or auditing You bring multi-year, deepened experience in Audit / Internal Audit and are well familiar with complex audit and control processes You work autonomously, structured and efficient and draw your attention through a distinct capacity for continuous training - especially with regard to legal bases such as MaRisk, EBA and You are versed in dealing with MS Office applications (especially Excel and Word) and use modern AI tools sovereignly You have strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills and enforcement skills You bring a high quality awareness and a clear process orientation You communicate in German and very well in English, both oral and written
