Investigation of Resolver alternatives for electric drive systems research and evaluation of alternative rotor position sensors (e.g. Hall-based sensors, inductive sensor units). Comparison of technologies with respect to accuracy, robustness, costs, EMC behavior and integration effort Conducting laboratory tests including Evaluation of measurement results and derivation of recommendations for future designs

Analysis of coreless methods for measuring current Introduction to and experimental investigation of coreless current measurement methods (e.g. differential Hall) Construction, commissioning and testing of test circuits Assessment of the methods with respect to accuracy, bandwidth, temperature behavior and susceptibility to interference and comparison with conventional current measurement systems

Other activities Support in building and testing prototypes in the environment of electric motors and inverters Evaluation of measurement data and production of technical documentation and results reports

Study of electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical course Basic knowledge of electrical machines, measuring technology or power electronics Self-employed, structured working, analytical thinking and interest in innovative technologies
