As a trainee in the field of “Digital Transformation Quality” you will be part of our mission to raise digitalization in quality management to the next level. In the “Digital Transformation Quality” team, we design and implement the digitalization strategy for global quality management at Mercedes-Benz Cars and work closely with our IT partners to develop innovative approaches that really bring about something. Quality is the core of customer satisfaction – and you will help us continue to ensure this. Data is your field of play and AI technology is your toolbox. You immerse yourself in complex data ecosystems, align advanced analysis solutions and implement them. In cooperation with stakeholders, you convert raw data into implementable insights using AI. From building scalable data pipelines to developing dashboards and predictive models, you contribute to projects that shape the future of Mercedes-Benz. As part of international project teams, you actively support large-scale data analysis initiatives, work with modern technologies such as python, SQL and cloud platforms and learn from experienced data engineers and data scientists. This is your chance to combine IT expertise, creativity and collaboration – and make quality smarter. This position is located in a department currently under construction. Therefore, you have the opportunity to introduce your ideas and experiences in the design of tasks. Flexibility in this process is a prerequisite.

An above-average degree (Master, MBA or Promotion) in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics or a comparable degree course Maximum 3 years of professional experience (outside the course) At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work & travel) Strong skills and affinity for digital technologies: Relevant Data Science languages (e.g. Python), very good knowledge of relevant cloud platforms (e.g. Databricks, Azure, AWS), frameworks for large-scale data processing (e.g. PySpark) and relevant AI models (e.g. GPT, Gemini, Analysis Claude), SQL, PowerBI, We appreciate applicants who show a strong social sense of responsibility Excellent English knowledge (C1) and good German knowledge (B2) are a must, Spanish knowledge (B2) are advantageous You are motivated to help shape the transformation at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility Strong interpersonal and communicative skills, coupled with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to convey any technical topic to top management You show strong team skills and motivate others to achieve their goals We look forward to your online application.
