You take on the overall technical responsibility for the M&A Transactions and ensure consistently high consulting and earnings quality. You take responsibility for the “M&A Transactions” theme as part of the transformation and strategy consulting. You are responsible for the strategic and sustainable development of the consulting business “M&A Transactions” in the municipal environment. You are a central contact and savings partner (m/w/d) for the management of our municipal works customers with planned M&A activities. You are responsible for the systematic development of competence in the consulting team and for the further professionalization of M&A transactions. You promote customer-oriented business and product development to secure earnings contributions for rhenag Stadtwerkeberatung.

You have a degree, preferably with economic or technical background, or a comparable qualification. You have already gained well-founded, long-term professional experience with strong M&A reference in the consulting/service business. You have detectable expertise in the design, structuring and implementation of M&A projects and transactions, such as due diligence, corporate assessment, structuring or contract negotiations. You have several years of experience in managing complex customer projects, including managing interdisciplinary project teams. You also have experiences in the energy industry and/or in the municipal environment (required). You bring entrepreneurial thinking, a positive mindset, as well as a high self-initiative and actively recognise market and business opportunities.
