Cloud Security and Automation Specialist for Virtualization and Cloud (m/f/d)

As a supervisory authority for banks, insurance companies, financial service providers and securities institutions, we act at the heart of the financial industry and protect consumers. As part of the Single Supervisory Mechanism and Resolution Mechanism for the Banks of the Eurozone, we are networked in Europe and worldwide and are co-designing European and international financial market standards. We are looking for a*n Specialist in Cloud Security and Automation (w/m/d) for virtualization and cloud for an unlimited activity in fulltime or part-time as a speaker at one of our offices, Bonn or Frankfurt am Main. This area deals with the further development and operation of virtualization and cloud infrastructure. It is also central to the strategy, architecture and support of virtualization and cloud environments. These tasks address the challenge of hybrid infrastructure, comprehensive virtualization and process automation for scaling and optimization of IT operations. An important focus is also the centralization and standardization of process automation for operation.

Planning, implementation and operation of public cloud infrastructures (e.g. Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Delos, STACKIT, Sovereign Cloud), as well as private cloud infrastructures (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift) Assessment and implementation planning of IT security requirements/architectures in the field of public and private cloud (all security architectures, BSI basic protection, BSI C5) Conception and implementation of the automation of IT operating processes (scripting, infrastructure as code, GitOps) Advising and supporting specialist departments and users in the use of cloud services and migration projects

With at least the “good” grade, you have completed a university degree (Master/University Diploma) of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a comparable discipline and have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in operation and in the design of cloud infrastructures OR You have completed a university degree (Master/University Diploma) of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a comparable discipline with at least the “satisfactory” note and have at least five years of relevant professional experience in operation and in the design of cloud infrastructures You have well-founded knowledge in the field of automation and infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Azure Bicep, AWS CloudFormation, OpenTofu) You convince colleagues and externals on the basis of your appraisal handling and your clear approach to the matter You have the digital skills to understand and classify new developments in a digital environment You are open to work in projects or project structures and ideally have experiences in workshop and moderation techniques, agile working methods or even in project management You have very good knowledge of English You fulfil the requirements of § 7 para. 1 Federal Staff Act / § 3 para. 1.1 TvöD-V, in particular, possess the nationality of a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland and are willing to enter into the basic system of freedom and democracy For the advertised activity it is absolutely necessary that you consent to an extended safety review pursuant to § 9 SÜG before you cease.
