Trade Customs Manager (m/f/d)

Analysis of import and export operations as well as independent customs processing using various customs procedures (active and passive refinement, free movement, final, temporary and re-export etc.) and provision of preferential proofs for customs savings in third countries Consulting internal and external interfaces for all import and export processes, including documentation and legal assessment support Disposition of cargo hold for land, air and sea transport taking into account economic aspects and optimisation of transport costs Creation and processing of all required customs and shipping documents (export accompanying document, declaration of dangerous goods, dispatch ad, CMR shipping letter, Carnet ATA, accreditation conditions etc.) Processing and reporting of all EU inputs and outputs to the Federal Statistical Office in accordance with statutory requirements

Successfully completed commercial training as well as at least three years of practical experience in logistics and customs with a focus on customs declaration knowledge of the Union Customs Code, customs and external trade law and the rules on dangerous goods applicable to all modes of transport; desirable is an IATA trainer for air transport Safe handling of current MS Office applications and SAP as well as good German and English knowledge in word and writing Embossed flexibility, rapid understanding, independent and structured working methods and enforcing and communication skills Comprehensive experience in the shipping sector as well as in the application of hazardous goods regulations, combined with high own initiative and willingness to act
