ABNOBA GmbH is a researching pharmaceutical company with approved medicines for oncology in international markets and successful clinical studies. Our clinical successes emerge from our pharmaceutical product innovations for a modern, low-income cancer therapy. We cooperate with renowned European universities in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and other partner countries all year round. With our partners, we have carried out several national and European-funded projects, published high-level and conducted joint PhD projects, in particular with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. We have developed an innovative pharmaceutical transport system based on asymmetric liposomes in combination with novel active ingredients and active substance classes that can be pre-clinically tested in different formulations. This is intended to achieve the improvement of the pharmacokinetics and the antitumoral activity of the drug for the targeted treatment of solid tumors. Suitable in vitro models are to be investigated in our research laboratory. The implementation of in vivo studies is transferred to external partners.

Technological objectives: Development of technologies for the production of various liposomal formulations for the preparation of high molecular weight plant-based active ingredients ligand targeting for targeted cellular absorption in the therapy of solid tumors Detections for improving the pharmacokinetics and the antitumoral activity of liposomal drug carriers. The manufacturing technologies of the pharmaceutical transport system are developed and optimized with an experienced, interdisciplinary team.

Requirements: Graduate in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences and Adjacent Subjects Knowledge in the following areas is desirable: production and characterization of pharmaceutical transport systems and colloids, optimization of pharmaceutical technologies, development of biochemical-analytic methods and in vitro analysis Scientific thinking, initiative, motivation and commitment for innovative research in cancer therapy Joy in cooperation in an interdisciplinary team, cooperation with external partners and participation in meetings and conferences Professional English in Word and Writing
