Senior System Engineer – Citrix App Virtualization & Automation (m/f/d)

Ensuring the stable and secure operation of Citrix-based application provision as well as analysis and sustainable elimination of complex disturbances in 2nd and 3rd level support as well as acceptance of call readiness Providing, integrating and lifecycle management of applications within the Citrix environment including the associated Windows and Platform components Conception and implementation of automation for recurring operational, deployment and administration tasks, in particular by PowerShell and Ansible Analysis of existing manual processes and development of standardized, repeatable and scalable deployment and operating processes Further development of existing scripts, ansible playbooks and automation modules as well as the construction of reusable solutions instead of individual case implementations Implementation of requirements and changes as well as technical development of the service in close cooperation with service management and architecture Participation in patch, release, security and lifecycle topics as well as ensuring a stable and manageable production environment Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as active knowledge transfer to automation and operating standards within the team

Complete IT studies or comparable training as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in the operation and/or engineering of complex IT services, ideally in the enterprise environment Found experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops as well as the deployment and integration of applications in complex Windows environments Very good scripting skills, especially PowerShell, and practical experience in the automation of recurring administrative and operational tasks Experience with Ansible and Configuration Management; Knowledge in version management, infrastructure as code and CI/CD are advantageous Embossed understanding of standardization, automation and scalability as well as the ability to transfer manual processes into robust and manageable automated processes Experience in IT Service Management, ideally ITIL Foundation, as well as understanding the security lifecycle of productive IT services Experience in the administrative environment and in virtual and cross-site cooperation Analytical, independent and self-organized working methods, pronounced customer and result orientation as well as reliable knowledge of German and good English
