Senior Expert Business Integration in Business Analytics & Simulation (m/w/d) from 01.07.2025 and full-time in Bonn or Hamburg. In the area of Modeling & Simulation (M&S), we develop and operate IT for the Bundeswehr, which is needed for the development, deployment and operation of digital environments and computer-assisted simulations based on models, data and scenarios. The focus of our customer-centric developments of innovations is on modeling & simulation solutions and increasingly on the interoperability of simulation systems as well as interaction with simulation and real systems via virtual reality, mixed reality and augmented reality. As a senior expert business integration, you are responsible for the strategic and technological developments in the A&S business segment (with a focus on modeling & simulation), which have a high impact both on the customer's ability to act and on the BWI business model.

Central contact for the customer for the M&S solutions

Detection, understanding, structuring and evaluating customer needs and requirements

Solution Conception in cooperation with the IT architects from the different fields

Creation of offers for implementation

BWI internal services/service units for implementing M&S solutions together with project management

Assessment of new technological solutions/applications and the management and preparation of new strategic topics

Completed studies or comparable training in the field of IT and/or business

Circa 4 years of professional experience Multiannual experience in project management, preferably with the focus on previous professional activities or training in the field of modeling and simulation

Knowledge of the topics Simulation models as well as proven experience in the field of digital environments, action or process trainers

Experience in public administration, preferably in the field of federal defence, defence and public security

Embossed, level communication skills

Structured and analytical methods

High level of responsibility and customer and service-oriented thinking and team-oriented action

Very good German knowledge
