You love to repair or craft smaller things at home? But are you actually interested in the really big machines in the factories that produce from the chocolate bar to the car to machine parts for us? You'll be right there by training for the electric system monster (m/w/d). In the workshop and in the production hall, you will learn the important handles for the assembly and disassembly of control cabinets and machines. Whether assembly and wiring assemblies and switchgear cabinets, reading and applying circuit documents, laying and attaching cables and wires, understanding the structure, function and interaction of mechanical and electrical assemblies, equipment and installations, or detecting, correcting and documenting faults and disturbances – in your training you will learn to implement these electrical activities yourself. In short: You are the all-rounder (m/w/d) in all industrial companies!

This is your place During your 3-year training in operation, you will become a professional for energy supply technology, control and control technology! In your training, you will learn how to select the electrical components required for this purpose and to install and wire them in the control cabinets and systems. Your good school degree (qualified middle or middle school degree) is the ideal prerequisite. With good grades in mathematics and physics, you can understand the basics of control technology or make calculations. The techniques of how to make switchgear cabinets and electrical components are taught in your training. You can easily communicate with others and work together. You can do your own tasks. You are fascinated by the design and interior of large cabinets and machine wiring. You can express yourself well, e.g. to explain the systems to colleagues (m/w/d). You work carefully – this pays off when the systems are assembled and the quality check. What else you need to know Similar to other professions in industry, training for the electrical equipment engineer (m/w/d) takes 3 years and takes place dually, so you are on the move between a vocational school and your training place. Your vocational school usually takes place 1-2 days a week and is running at Pegnitz.
