Your role

In optic production at ZEISS, you take responsibility for demanding projects concerning the industrialization and scaling of our technologies. Together with interdisciplinary teams, you develop solutions from the idea to series production and thus make a direct contribution to the performance of our products and processes.

Responsibility for complex projects within the field of optics

Project teams, clearly distribute tasks and coordinate cooperation across divisions

Plan and control projects, including appointment, resources and risk management, and ensure the achievement of defined project objectives

Adapting interfaces to development, production, quality and other areas involved and setting common procedures

Project progress and results regularly report to stakeholders and management

Drive industrialization and scaling of new or optimized processes into series production

Analyse problems structured with methods such as 8D and implement sustainable correction and improvement measures

Completed university or university degree with technical or scientific focus, ideally with Master's degree

Relevant professional experience in the development or production of complex systems or processes

Detectable experience in project management as well as in technical management and coordination of teams

Knowledge of problem solving and methods of improvement such as REFA, Lean, Six Sigma and the implementation of measures by approaches such as 8D

Enhanced knowledge in the field of optical processing processes or in comparable precision manufacturing processes

Impressed communication strength and enforcing ability as well as joy in working in interdisciplinary teams

Very good English skills in word and writing
