Team Lead General Ledger Accounting (m/f/d)

In the role as team leader (m/w/d) main accounting, you take responsibility for a central area of our accounting and contribute significantly to the financial stability and transparency of our company. Together with your team, you will ensure the proper accounting according to HGB and support the timely creation of accounts. In addition, you actively promote the optimization of processes and systems and work closely with internal specialist areas as well as external examiners. Your tasks: Responsibility for the main book: independent and proper booking of all transactions according to HGB Maintenance and coordination of the accounts, including Intercompany accounts Participation in the timely creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB (Perspective IFRS) Cooperation with auditors and tax advisors Preparation and provision of test-relevant documents and preparation of explanations Support in the introduction and further development of ERP systems Working with process optimization & digitization projects Close cooperation with Controlling, Debitor/Creditor Accounting and Project Management

Completed commercial training with further training to the account holder (IHK) or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in accounting (ideally in an international environment or in a tax law firm) knowledge of accounting according to HGB; IFRS identifiers are advantageous Safe handling of accounting software and ERP systems Good MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel Excellent accuracy, care and sense of responsibility Self-employed, structured and solution-oriented work Analytical thinking and high numerical affinity High level of team skills and hands-on mentality Good knowledge of German in word and writing English skills are desirable
