Senior Mathematician / Actuary for the Pricing Actuarial Department of Active Reinsurance (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the mathematical and technical evaluation of international reinsurance contracts. In your role, you analyze the risk situation and the insurance portfolios of our customers by means of academic methods. Existing evaluation approaches are reviewed and updated by you. In addition, you develop, develop and test new mathematical methods and tools for technical evaluation. At cross-departmental interfaces you represent our interests. Also ensuring the quality of the evaluation is one of your tasks. You actively contribute your acquired professional experience to the team. In addition to these tasks, you take the direct on-site advice of our first insurance customers.

Diploma or master in mathematics, economic mathematics or physics Ideally actuar DAV or started training for actuar DAV Professional practice in a first or reverse insurer Project experience desirable English in word and writing, other foreign languages such as Spanish, French or Italian of advantage Team spirit, reflection and decision-making skills as well as a flexible, agile way of thinking
