Head of the Accounting Division, which comprises the areas of creditor accounting, debitor accounting and main book and currently consists of ten employees, within the framework of legal regulations and in accordance with U.S. GAP and applicable policies and budgets Responsible for the creation of monthly and annual final documents for several companies belonging to Steinway & Sons Creation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial packages for the Steinway Musical Instruments Group company for the above companies Ensuring – in cooperation with the Corporate Financial Team – that the EMEA region’s finance and accounting team is pursuing a consistent and correct approach to financial statements and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring compliance with the policies and an appropriate control environment to identify and resolve issues Monitoring of all payment transactions for the aforementioned companies Responsibility for the creation of sales tax pre-registrations / summary reports for the aforementioned companies Maintenance of the return accounts for the aforementioned companies Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the current bookings as well as continuous optimization and further development of the accounting processes and workflows according to US-GAAP in compliance with local legal regulations Support for the compilation and verification of responses to the auditor's data requests during the annual audit Takeover and independent processing of special tasks and projects in the financial sector Participation in budgeting, forecasting and commenting

Successfully completed university studies or comparable relevant qualifications Funded, multi-year professional experience (7+ years) with at least 3 years of leadership experience as well as very good accounting knowledge / experience in auditing is advantageous Impressed communication and leadership as well as joy in managing and developing employees, combined with a strong team spirit and the highest stakeholder orientation Ability to organize the finance team and set priorities, with proven experience in building and managing powerful teams Safe handling of MS Office products, especially Excel, is required Very good English skills in word and writing Experience with the ERP system Business Central / Navision is desirable / US-GAAP knowledge is required An independent, reliable and “hands-on”-oriented mode of operation Evaluating and motivating handling of different internal and external contacts Experience in a manufacturing company is beneficial
