Project Manager Electrical Engineering - Substations & High Voltage (m/f/d)

As a project manager at the NGN Netzgesellschaft Niederrhein, you are responsible for planning, controlling and implementing demanding construction, rebuilding and replacement new construction measures in our substations. You make sure that technical, economic and regulatory standards are consistently complied with and are the key player for all project participants.

Technical direction: You are responsible for extensive electrotechnical work in our substations and ensure implementation according to applicable standards and regulations Primary engineering planning: You plan air and gas-insulated switching systems, transformers as well as self-supply and earthing systems Project coordination: You keep an overview of all subprojects and disciplines - from high and low construction to primary and secondary engineering to technical building equipment Construction site control: Together with the teams on site, you will find pragmatic solutions if something does not run according to plan. Controlling & Reporting: You monitor dates and budgets, evaluate risks and keep all project participants transparent Quality assurance: You coordinate acceptances, commissionings and warranty monitoring and check technical documentation and measurements Documentation: You first, rework and check plan documents, connection and current schedules and assemble the end documentation for plant operation

Qualification: You have a completed study in the field of electrical engineering, civil engineering or a comparable technical field and brings at least three years of professional experience in the construction and operation of substations with Project management: You have experience in controlling and monitoring demanding energy infrastructure projects and keeps track of multiple construction sites at the same time Working: You work structured and independent and have a good sense of technical connections Team management & communication: You coordinate interdisciplinary teams, communicate clearly and find pragmatic solutions in challenging situations
