Head of Product Management (m/f/d)

You assume the overall responsibility for the Bank’s product strategy as a derivative of our business and risk strategy and develop the holistic product portfolio (active, passive and securities products) including contribution and product profitability. You provide a customer- and market-oriented, profitable and regulatoryly compliant product range. Define the strategic product mix and make-or-buy decisions. You guide the team of 3 – 4 employees, structure and develop the organization unit according to the Target Operating Model, promote clear role distributions, high decision transparency and efficient cooperation. You are responsible for product life cycles, product releases (New Product Process, NPP), product adaptations and product terminations. You will also define the strategic pricing guidelines for our products. You are responsible for product and portfolio key figures (income, sales, risk, stock), initiate and evaluate market, competition and customer analyses. You lead the product committee and establish regular Jour fixe structures. You create decision templates and management reports for Executive Board and Management. In doing so, you permanently agree with compliance, treasury, fund management, sales, COO office and other interface areas.

You have a degree in economics, financial management or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in strategic product management, bank management, treasury, asset management or sales management and have a comprehensive understanding of bank-related relationships and product logics. You have very good knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. MaRisk, WpHG, product release processes). You bring several years of leadership experience or significant leadership. You possess a strategic-analytical way of thinking and clear decision-making strength, have high communication capability and a safe occurrence at management level. You can present complex issues in a structured and address-oriented manner, show willingness to design, sense of responsibility and competence to change.
