Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Managing, operating, debugging and continuously developing complex network infrastructures Configuring, managing and debugging enterprise firewall systems (especially Cisco, Sonicwall and Sophos, as well as other manufacturers) Support and optimise IT security solutions (NDR, XDR, IDS/IPS) Analyse and fix network and security incidents in 2nd/3rd level support High-quality security concepts (Zero Trust, Network Segmentation etc.) plan and implement Configure and maintain Cisco or Aruba Switching Environments (VLAN, STP, Routing) and, if necessary, other manufacturers Perform updates, patches and security audits Documenting complex infrastructures and processes

Complete training in IT (e.g. specialist system integration) or a comparable qualification Long-standing experience in the network and security environment Proven knowledge in dealing with firewall solutions, ideally Cisco and Sophos (XGS), as well as other enterprise providers Very good knowledge of network protocols, routing and switching (e.g. Catalyst series, VLAN, Trunking) Long-standing experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL-VPN) and automation (e.g. with PowerShell) Very good German (min. C1) - and good English (min. B2) in word and writing Required additional qualifications Certifications such as Sophos Certified Engineer/Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or comparable Experience with SIEM systems and log analysis Knowledge of cloud security (e.g. Azure, AWS)
