Mercedes-Benz Vans is one of the world's leading providers in the premium van segment. With the series Sprinter, Vito, Citan and V-Class we design the mobility of people and companies worldwide. In the course of the transformation to electromobility, we develop the next generation of vehicles based on the purely electric van architecture VAN.EA (Van Electric Architecture). This strategic product project forms the basis for future battery-electric vans and helps to further advance the electromobility in the transporter and large-scale limousine segment. In the field of strategic project management VAN.EA we are responsible for the planning and implementation of the next generation of battery-electric vans. Our tasks include the strategic planning of future project approaches, cross-determination and close cooperation with numerous disciplines. For this challenging and exciting task we are looking for you to support our team. These challenges include: Acquisition of a central interface function and coordination of inter-area topics along the product development process Creation of decision templates and status reports to support management decisions in different bodies Organisation and moderation of workshops and project bodies Support in controlling project-critical milestones and appointments of future vehicle projects Creating and maintaining project schedules and ensuring transparency about the current project status Cooperation with different departments and locations to promote smooth coordination in the project environment We offer: Working on a strategic future project in the field of electromobility Insights into the control of complex vehicle development projects Close cooperation with different disciplines and international project partners Responsible tasks with design space An innovative project environment with diverse development possibilities Cooperation in a dedicated team The activity can begin from January 2027.

That's what you bring: Degree course in the field of economics, industrial engineering or a comparable degree course Ideally first practical experience through internships or student work activities, preferably in the context of project management, consulting or automotive Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Class B driving licence Analytical thinking and pronounced expressiveness Structured, independent and reliable operation and high self-initiative Team skills and joy in cooperation with different contact persons Ability to keep track of complex project environments We offer: Exciting insights into the strategic management of future VAN projects Comprehensive insights into the production process of our vehicles Building a cross-sectoral network with numerous disciplines Responsible tasks and the ability to actively shape topics Direct insights into management and decision processes Cooperation in a dedicated team The written out position is an on-site position.
