Laboratory technician (m/f/d)

The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is one of the largest practice-oriented universities in Bavaria and covers a wide range of subjects with the fields of technology, social and economic sciences, design and languages. We accompany around 9,300 students in more than 65 courses on their educational path. Currently we have the following place to occupy: Faculty of Electrical Engineering Laboratory technician (m/d) in full time Application code: 04.2.749 The place shall be occupied at the next possible time, the place of service shall be in Schweinfurt. Setting is permanent and full-time (40 hours/week). If all necessary conditions exist, there is the possibility of beaming. The place is in principle part-time, provided that the full implementation of the tasks is ensured by job sharing.

The tasks are in particular the support of the laboratory for electrical machines and power electronics and the laboratory for intelligent control and drive systems: Acquisition and management of hardware and software as well as maintenance and expansion of laboratory equipment Care and implementation of courses, in particular laboratory practice in the areas of automation, power electronics and electrical machines Support for Bachelor and Master students in the Faculty's degree programmes Supporting the laboratory's own energy supply for electrical machines and power electronics used in teaching and research The position also offers the opportunity to contribute independently to the teaching and research of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering

The grouping is carried out in pay group 8 TV-L if all conditions exist. In this case, the relevant regulations of the Bavarian Civil Code are to be applied. The entry into the 2nd level of qualification takes place in grade A 7. In addition, we can take over officers in their current grade as part of the transfer.
