Network Architect (m/f/d)

Architecture & Design: You plan and shape future-oriented network and security topologies for our BMC. Security & Compliance: You implement state-of-the-art security measures according to BSI standards and conduct regular audits for active risk mitigation. Operations: You are responsible for building, administration and smooth operation of the complex network and security infrastructure (switches, routers, gateways, firewalls). Strategy & development: You actively advance our IT target architecture and establish forward-looking architectural principles. Consulting & Requirement Management: You evaluate specialist concepts, translate needs into technical solutions and accompany their successful implementation in the cloud. Project and service provider control: You ensure that project management standards are complied with and coordinate cooperation with external service providers.

Qualification: You have a successfully completed academic degree with master or diploma degree (university) from the field of information technology. Experience: You have at least 3 years of practical experience. That's what you bring Network & protocol expertise: You feel at home in the world of LANs, WANs, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancing and VPNs, bringing knowledge into network protocols and standards (e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing). Architecture & Design: You have fun designing complex and scalable network architectures that match the most modern security standards and project requirements. Hands-on Administration: The configuration and management of network components and firewalls is your daily business. Management & Optimization: You keep track of resources, budgets and timelines, manage partners successfully and optimize network performance through structured analyses. Compliance & Security Mintset: Secure IT networks and data protection are your standard. Missing special knowledge is proactive and independent.
