As a Kubernetes consultant, you create the technical basis for this change together with our customers. You help them build OpenShift/OKD clusters and viable operating models and install the eGov suite on the Fabasphere architecture or migrate from the classic VM-based reference architecture. You develop a loadable operating model with the customer. These include environments and responsibilities as well as monitoring, logging, backup and restore, lifecycle processes and emergency services. You design automated and reproducible deployment processes and integrate the platform into existing CI/CD, GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code procedures. You install the Fabasoft eGov suite on the prepared OpenShift/OKD platform, configure the required platform services and check together with the teams involved whether all the conditions for productive operation are met. You plan migrations from the classic VM-based reference architecture to the Fabasphere architecture. You analyze the exit environment, develop migration, test and fall concepts and accompany the productive transition You analyze technical problems across the entire platform and work with customer IT, operation, development and product management on sustainable solutions. You document architecture and operation, carry out technical workshops and ensure that our customers' operating teams can safely take over and continue the platform.
You have completed IT training (e.g. business informatics/informatics or comparable qualification) and brings relevant professional experience in the construction and operation of modern platforms. You have practical experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift/OKD in production-related or productive environments. You understand Linux, containers, networks, storage, TLS certificates, identity management and container registry and can systematically analyze technical dependencies. You know concepts for high availability, monitoring, logging, backup and restore as well as the safe operation of containerized applications. You have experience with automated deployment processes and at least one tool or method from the areas CI/CD, GitOps or Infrastructure as Code.
