Then you are right with us! The MO/CA - start-up factory & product engineering department is responsible for all new vehicle races of the Mercedes-Benz cars worldwide. Our task is to secure the standard construction capability, from the first design designs, via digital prototypes, the first hardware structures (prototypes) to series production, with our project partners and to implement optimal product design. As part of your internship, you work closely with the start-up engineers of the digital prototypes and the hardware prototypes and participate in the daily business. You are actively working with us on all new vehicle projects that are in different project phases, and you are working on subprojects independently. In addition, you will get exciting and varied insights into the continuous optimization of the assembly sequences as well as overarching process standardizations from digital buildability protection to start-up processes to series production. During your internship, you get the chance to introduce your work and ideas yourself, even before executives. Cross-departmental cooperation with process partners from assembly, development, production planning, quality management and logistics complete your internship. These challenges come to you: Conducting competitive analyses on component concepts with focus on assembly capability

Analysis, documentation and tracking of problems occurring accompanying the vehicle construction

Accompanying our vehicles during assembly or production tests in pre-series environment

Support in the development of appropriate measures for emerging problems

Acquisition of topics such as planning, implementation and documentation of subtasks within a project

Creation and presentation of project documents for documentation and decision-making for management

Contribution to the improvement of procedures, processes and tools

Coordination and contact management for international works and partners

Working with the current daily business

The internship can start from March 2026. A start in April 2026 is also possible.

Course in Engineering or Natural Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable course of studies

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of Office-365 - CAD knowledge desirable
