IT administrator:in infrastructure (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the entire server infrastructure (including VMware, ESXi Hosts, Windows Server, and backup systems) Configuration and Monitoring of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory Management and maintenance of local Cisco switches (including VLANs, Trunking, LinkAggregation, firmware updates) Planning, supervision and processing of the lifecycle of IT infrastructure assets Creation and maintenance of the documentation of all IT systems (e.g. network topologies, server configurations, backup procedures) Management of storage infrastructure, RAID systems, file sharing, access control and authorization checks Coordination of maintenance work, software updates and server restarts Ensure compliance with global security standards and audit requirements (TISAX, ISO 27001, NIS-2) Cooperation in the global service desk team and independent processing of the 2nd level support Cooperation with the global IT team in projects, infrastructure changes and security improvements

A successfully completed training as a specialist:in, a completed study of information technology or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in IT infrastructure management Good knowledge of VMware vSphere / ESXi environments (including storage and host management) Knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Windows Patching Experiences with Cisco CLI, VLANs, STP, Trunking and Network Bug Fix Knowledge of how to use Linux systems Good knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for automation and administration Experience in the planning of the IT-Asset life cycle and in preventive maintenance Very good knowledge of German and fluent English in word and writing
