Advisor and Coordinator for Social and Psychosocial Issues of Students (m/f/d)

In the position you are responsible for the construction, implementation, coordination and further development of a Social and psychosocial counselling services for HSZG students at the locations of the university in Zittau and Görlitz. You work closely in exchange with the employees of the General Social Consultancy and the Psychosocial Consultation Centre of the Studentenwerk Dresden at the Dresden site. The activity is carried out with a high degree of self-responsibility, scope for design and professional decision-making competence and includes in particular: Social consultation of students on financial, legal and social issues related to studies Independent implementation of single clearings Implementation of psychosocial consultations and, where appropriate, Transfer to the psychosocial counselling centre of the Studentenwerk in Dresden Conceptual development, control and evaluation of counselling Construction and maintenance of high-school and external networks Active public relations to ensure low-swell access to counselling documentation and quality assurance of consulting activities and Participation in Supervision, collegial case counselling and technical coordination

You have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Social Education, Psychology or a comparable discipline You have basic knowledge of social law (SGB II, SGB XII, BAföG, housing money) and ideally know the structures of universities The methods of discussion are familiar to you You bring with them a multi-year advising or therapeutic additional qualification or are willing to develop in addition to one another as part of an additional qualification in these areas. You bring experience in concept development, project work as well as in networking and public relations You work independently and in a structured manner and bring a high degree of social competence, communication strength and cooperation and interdisciplinary thinking with You have good computer skills and very good English skills
