IAM-Engineer (m/f/d)

You develop and operate our IAM platform to ensure that the identity and access management of the HanseMerkur works smoothly. You translate technical requirements into technical solutions and implement them in Java based on modern standards. If you see a technical improvement, we will implement them together. We trust your judgment. You advise internal teams on the correct connection to our identity management as well as on the safe use of our access management. You unfold and implement IAM architectures that ensure security and consistent identity data. You’re questioning existing processes to replace manual processes with workflows and automation. Cross-sectional function with effect: IAM touches almost every area of the company. You work closely with security, cloud and development teams in a collegial atmosphere. You will explore technological developments in the IAM environment, evaluate new possibilities and introduce impulses for the further development of our system and process landscape.

You have a degree in computer science or a comparable training with relevant professional experience in the IAM environment. You have extensive Java knowledge and experience in the development of productive applications. Terms such as OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SCIM are not buzzwords for you, but tools of your daily craft. Ideally, you could already gain experience with Sailpoint IdentityIQ and Keycloak. Knowledge in Kubernetes is a plus. You will be happy to communicate with stakeholders, because IAM lives from the exchange between technology and specialist area. You bring curiosity, willingness to learn and joy in developing you professionally and technically continuously. You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing. You are aware of the responsibility for accessing central identity and authorization systems, so you work with the necessary care and integrity.
