We are looking for a head of IT (m/w/d) for the company headquarters in Uelzen (between Hamburg and Hanover).

Strategic and operational overall responsibility for the IT landscape (infrastructure, systems, applications) Analysis, optimization and further development of IT processes and landscape across multiple locations Ensuring IT security and compliance with all relevant compliance and governance requirements Active driving forward the digital transformation and implementation of future-oriented IT and digitalization projects Planning and implementation of complex IT projects with departments at various locations Leadership and development of the IT team Control of external service providers and budget responsibility Report line to management

Complete study of (economic) informatics or comparable qualifications Multiannual leadership experience in a comparable IT management function, ideally in larger medium-sized structures in the industrial environment. Knowledge of complex IT environments (SAP system landscape, cloud systems, IT security standards) Experience in controlling transformation and digitization projects Change management skills as well as the ability to lead organizations and teams through change processes Strategic thinking and a deep understanding of business processes and the role of IT as a “business enabler” Structured, analytical and at the same time solution-oriented creative work and strong communication skills
